Resurrection of Touchie
February 25, 2001
After landing in the Rio Grande River during a rally in Los Lunas, Touchie was no longer flyable; even after it passed its annual test. During the Labor Day rally in Santa Ana, we found Touchie could no longer hold hot air. It was a sad day for all. We thought that was the end of itsa Touchie Subject. But, good news came along, and we found that we could recoat Touchie's fabric so that it could hold hot air again. After many months of waiting, and using another balloon to get high, we finally got Touchie back!
